The total budget is the estimate for when you arrive in Manali. I will also mention the transportation cost from Delhi, Mumbai, etc. You can add that cost to your total if you want a full estimate from Mumbai – Manali or Delhi – Manali. The reason I am not including the cost is that everyone chooses different travel styles according to their comfort. People also do some adventures activities in Manali, so this will also differ from all extra expenses. For booking your stay in Manali my recommendation is to take your hotel/hostel near mall road so that you haven't pay for a taxi every time.
How To Reach Manali:
The two main cities from where you can catch a bus to Manali are Chandigarh and Delhi. Buses run most of the all-time to Manali.
Prices from these cities to Manali are :
Delhi: Rs.700 - Rs.1500
Chandigarh: Rs. 500 - Rs.1000
- You can choose the buses from whichever city you like or whichever is convenient to you.
Distance from Delhi: 530 km approximately (nearly 12 hours)
Distance from Chandigarh: 304 km approximately (nearly 8 hours)

Accomodation:
Talking about the accommodation charges in Manali, there are three different categories Solo traveler, Group traveler, and couple. All have their own advantages & disadvantages.
You may have to pay the entire cost before checking in hostels/hotels. For approx 5 nights your total cost of hostel/hotel per person cost you around Rs.1800 - Rs. 2500. The check-in time is usually 10pm. But if request the receptionist, they might check you in a little early.
Meal In Manali:
As Manali is famous for its breathtaking views, it is also famous for its places to eat. After checking in rooms you need delicious food to eat and Manali offers you that at a very cheap price also, the hotels around Mall road are not too expensive. Your decent one-time meal would be around Rs.100 - Rs.200 max.
And if you have a budget then you can try other expensive hotels in Manali, like Mount view restaurant, Cafe 1947, Casa Bella Vista, etc. that depends on you.

- HIDIMBA DEVI TEMPLE
The Hidimba Devi Temple is among the most favorable place to visit in Manali. It is also known as Dhoongri Temple, and it's dedicated to the wife of Bhima (one of the brothers of five Pandavas). The temple has a beautiful atmosphere, surrounded by deodar trees. Temple is open all days of the week from 8:00 AM TO 6:00 PM.
- SOLANG VALLEY
Solang Valley the " Snow Valley " is 13 km from Manali. Which is famous for its various fun & winter adventures activities likes, skiing, paragliding, trekking, and parachuting. The best time to visit Solang Valley is from April- to June, and December - to January. The summer season is best for enjoying outdoor activities.
- VASHISHT TEMPLE
Vashisht Temple is another most visited place in Manali. It's from 3 km from Manali, you can go here walking also. It's more than 4000 years ago old. You will enjoy the Hot Springs here in Kund.
- ROHTANG PASS

Rohtang Pass is a high mountain pass 13,054 ft, its distance from Manali is 51 km. Rohtang Pass holds scenic beauty, beautiful sights of glaciers, rivers, and pristine waterfalls. Rohtang Pass is closed on Tuesday for maintenance. The permits are for taxis, and vehicles going to Rohtang Pass for tourism purposes.
- KASOL
Kasol is one of the popular destinations in Himachal. Famous for its thrilling treks, awesome food, beautiful landscape, and roaring river. The distance from Manali to Kasol is 75 km approx, which takes around 3-4 hours to reach your destination.
- JOGINI WATERFALL
The trek to Jogini Waterfalls is one of the most scenic & beautiful half-day treks of Manali. Just a small trek of 3 km from Vashisht temple you will reach your destination. It's a height of 7850 ft, and it's one of the most gorgeous waterfalls in Himachal Pradesh.
- TIBETAN BUDDHIST MONASTERY

This Monastery is situated very close to Manali bus stand, hardly a 5 mins walk and you reach there. Meet the friendly monks, meditating and indulging in spiritual discourses, and further upgrade the quiet experience.

Day 1 Cost - So you total cost for Day 1 would be Rs.1900 (transportation) + Rs.450 (lunch & dinner) = Rs.2350
Day 2 Cost - Your total expense for Day 2 would be Rs.450 ( lunch & dinner) and if you take a taxi of Rs.50 - Rs.100), so your total cost will be Rs.550.
Day 3 - 4 - 5 Cost - For your next 3 days, I don't give you a fixed itinerary, because everyone has their own different choices. you can choose that one according to your comfort zone. the Taxi price for 3 days would be Rs.3500. You can take an HRTC bus that reaches you to your destination at the cheapest price. There are some other packages also you can enquire about when you go out there.
On average one-day transportation, your cost will be Rs.250 if you take a taxi (with the group). Be smart, people always get more money from you, so be smart and invest your money in the right way.
So your total cost for 3 days will be Rs.750 (taxi) + Rs.1350 (lunch & dinner) = Rs.2100.
Day 6 Cost - Day 6 is your last day in Manali as I told you earlier. So, your last day cost will be Rs.1000 approx. For your food and in case you do some shopping.
So, your total expense of 6 days in Manali would be Rs.2350 + Rs.550 + Rs.2100 + Rs.1000 = Rs.6000
