Review:
"14 Peaks - Nothing is Impossible," A documentary that follows the Nepalese mountaineer Nirmal Purja as he tries to summit all 14 world 8000-meter peaks in 7 months. This record was previously set by Kim Chang Ho - South Korea In 7 yrs and 310 days. This documentary carries a very strong message of teamwork, perseverance, dedication, and national pride.

Nimsdai wants to take an all-Nepali group to the top of these fourteen peaks; a feat previously undertaken in eight years. Nimsdai, however, completes it in six months and six days, While breaking all six mountaineering records. The documentary underscores not only the insurmountable challenge that the team undertook in those difficult terrains but also the physical, mental, and financial hurdles that this mission entailed.

When he discussed his plan of scaling the mountain while raising funds for the expedition, he was scoffed at and mocked for undertaking an impossible task, " I said that my project was impossible. So I decided to name it 'Project Possible'," says Nimsdai, as he wanted to prove everyone wrong.

The documentary shows Purja never says bite the dust disposition and his assurance to accomplish the impossible. " Giving up is not in blood, sir. It's not in blood". says Nimsdai. The documentary likewise gives a brief look at his liberality in his helping other people out. look at the sequence when he decides to save a fellow mountaineer and falls victim to High Altitude Cerebral Edema or HACE.

The documentary while following his excursion through the 14 peaks follows a non-direct portrayal. It gives a look into his past which incorporates his adolescence, his preparation in the military school, and his tremendous love for his mom. But while everything fits perfectly in the documentary, two chronicles that have been left half-baked are his fundraising campaign and how he shifted from Nepal to the UK. While the documentary talks about his initiative of raising money for his campaign, it does not tell viewers whether he succeeded in the mission or not. The relocation to London story has been completely ignored.

The documentary is nearly 109 minutes and it's an inescapable outcome that giving equity to reach the top is a huge assignment, however, chief Torquil Jones figures out how to conquer this lacuna with his story. The inclusion of Reinhold Messner ( the first mountaineer to scale all 14 peaks in 16 years) in the documentary adds to the authenticity and the scale of Purja's achievement. An extraordinary grouping reference in the documentary is the movement in that he specifies the Shepa's people group. He gives the entire credit of his success to his fellow climbers (Mingma David Sherpa, Geljen Sherpa, Lakpa Dendi Sherpa, and Gesman Tamang ) when he mentions, " My sherpas helped me and they have names. Without their names, they are ghosts." when he mentions.

14 Peaks takes us to virgin areas until recently inconspicuous previously. They are crude, wonderful, amazing, and breathtaking. Nim's meeting and the documentary's record about k2, Kanchenjunga, and Shishapangma's top reach in china are near any thrill ride film. 14 peaks is a documentary that shows you a great deal, the premier being people have an unstoppable soul.

This movie is totally mesmerizing and gives a wonderful message that your cause to do something should be bigger than everything, if your reason to do it is selfless and for the benefit of others, you will not back out. You will give it your heart and soul and everything you have, just to achieve that.
